State of Michigan Geagley Labs Controls Project

Geagley Laboratory ranks as one of the top pesticides and food safety laboratories in the nation. Temperature control in the lab is necessary to guarantee product quality and sanitation. This project showcases a comprehensive controls upgrade that breathed new life into existing pneumatic controls and outdated DDC control systems. We primarily focused on enhancing the efficiency and functionality of the existing HVAC infrastructure. This initiative tackled various equipment, ranging from general HVAC units to specialized laboratory systems, all integrated with Phoenix controls. By modernizing these systems, the project not only optimized energy consumption but also improved the overall operational effectiveness of the HVAC setup. Through extensive planning and implementation, the upgrade ushered in a new era of precision control and adaptability, ensuring optimal climate management across various spaces while simultaneously aligning with contemporary technological standards.
