In 2021, Aquinas College received its largest individual gift donation to expand the science building. The project aimed to create a state-of-the-art facility that achieved LEED Gold certification. In addition to this project, Aquinas boasts 7 other LEED-certified buildings. Every detail we planned to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. This included integrating Lab Equipment with Phoenix Controls and implementing general HVAC systems with energy and heat recovery systems. Air Quality samplings were conducted using an advanced Aircuity System to maintain a safe and healthy indoor environment. Additionally, seamless integrations of lighting, utility monitoring, and generator switch gear highlighted a holistic approach to building management. With a focus on sustainability, comfort, and technological advancement, this project sets a new standard for modern construction. It promises unparalleled functionality and adaptability for years to come.
